"HI" Birdy Card

This is a card that I made for this weeks Scrappy Mom's Stamps Terrific Tuesday Challenge using the Create-A-Critter cartridge, which just so happens to be my favorite cartridge. I kept it pretty simple this time but I just love how all the bright colors look together. I think that might be my style; bright & cheerful! If you missed my Sunny Day's post of a layout that I made a few day ago check it out here. It was also created using the Create-A-Critter cartridge. Hope everyone has a great day!

This card was created using the Create-A-Critter Cartridge. The cute pink birdy is cut at 3", the letters are Me & My Big Ideas Glitter chipboard stickers and the ribbon is a scrap I had.

Sunny Day's

Hi Everyone! I finally got my new cartridge this week and I absolutely LOVE it. I got the Create-A-Critter Cartridge. I know many of you have had this for some time but I have only had my Cricut for 2 months so to me it's pretty exciting. If for some reason you do not have this cartridge, you must get it. I am so glad I decided on this one. The possibilities are seriously endless with this cartridge. I am going to have so much fun creating with it. I spent a part of my Saturday in my craft space and am super excited with what I came up with. It screams SPRING! We had a winter with record breaking snow totals and below average temperatures so I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of Spring. I decided that I wanted to do something different than a card this time so I went with a layout that I will frame and display.

My design also fits the requirements to enter into a few challenges as well. I have entered in the "All About Spring" challenge on Cardz TV and "Challenge Me Monday" on Fantabulous Cricut.  Also the Cricut Sisters Monday Challenge on Patti Lynn Creations and another on  Paper Issues.

Black & Pink Love Card

I joined in on the February Pinkalicious Blog Hop with Robyn at My Pink Stamper. I followed along on the hop and saw some very cute projects along with the chance to enter some really awesome giveaways. The challange this month was to create a project using the color black with your favorite color/colors. I chose to do Black with of course what else, PINK! It does have a Valentine Theme I guess you could say since it is coming up. I just LOVE Black & Pink together, so cute! I do really need to invest in some of her stamps for sure, they are so cute. So anyway...here is what I came up with.

This card was created using the Simply Sweet Cartridge for the hearts and Love.  I used Textured Black & Pink Cardstock from I believe Paper Studio (huge pack from Hobby Lobby), Patterned Paper also by Paper Studio and the Black Ribbon by Ribbon Trends.

Thanks for taking time to look at my card, I LOVE comments!

Brownie Batter Chocolate Fudge Cupcakes

I am normally a pretty big fan of watching the Superbowl regardless who is playing but for some reason this year I had no interest at all. So instead my good friend Abby from An "A" For Effort and I decided we would do some baking while our husbands watched football. She came across this recipe from Kevin & Amanda and thought that with Valentines Day right around the corner these  would be absolutely perfect. These amazing chocolate cupcakes are filled with an incredibly generous scoop of brownie batter then topped off with an outrageously rich chocolate frosting. We had a really great time making these and of course decorating them. If you are a chocolate lover I can guarantee that you will absolutely LOVE these cupcakes.

Go on, make them...you know you want to!

Well now that I have my Cricut I am always looking for an excuse to create something with it so I decided to make up these really cute Valentines Cupcake Toppers. They were super easy to make and made a great decoration to those amazingly delicious cupcakes we made.
